These tests include BS EN 538:1994 for strength, BS EN539-2:1998 for resistance to frost damage and BS EN539-1:1994 for impermeability to water. Tiles are supplied with a factory-backed 30-year guarantee against any failure caused by manufacturing defects and production is tested on a regular basis to ensure these standards are maintained.
